This year, Cilcain Show is proud to support Shooting Star Cancer Support in memory of John Wynne Davies, a much loved local farmer and a valued supporter of the Show for many years. Wynne was a familiar face in our farming community, remembered for his kindness, hard work and willingness to get involved. His loss has been deeply felt across the village and we hope this year's support for Shooting Star is a fitting tribute to his memory.

 

Shooting Star supports the chemotherapy unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, helping to fund equipment and services that enhance the care and treatment of local cancer patients. Wynne benefitted from the care and support provided by the unit during his illness, making this a cause that is especially meaningful for this year's Show.
