Entry fee does not include show ground entry fee and there are no entries on the day

Public toilets with washing facilities are available on the show site however, regrettably there are no shower facilities. 

 A prize will be awarded for the first person to complete the race in fancy dress. Speak to the stewards when you enter for eligibility.

The Cilcain Mountain Race is the oldest fell race in Wales, it was first run in 1960!

 

The annual running of the Mountain Race, takes place over the course of approximately 4.5 miles climbing to the 1,820ft summit of Moel Famau which sits above the village of Cilcain.
